Windows

We manufacture and fit a huge variety of timber windows, from traditional box sash sliders to modern spiral sash windows.

We can manufacture a full range casement windows (flush and storm-proof) on traditional butt hinge with stays and handles, or with modern multi-point locking mechanisms and friction hinges.

We offer a full refurbishment service either in the workshop or ‘on site’.

We also offer supply and fit of PVCu and aluminium windows, and we can offer a guarantee through IWG for your peace of mind.

Doors

We manufacture and fit any type of door. Front doors, back doors, French or patio doors, bi-fold hung or sliding doors and garage doors, as well as all types of internal door; all to your specification.

All our bespoke doors are mortise and tenon construction, and manufactured from hardwood, softwood or Oak.

Glazing is carried out to all current safety standards and requirements.

We also have a range of timber veneer internal standard or fire-check doors, pre-finished and ready for decoration.

Bi Folding Doors

Our bi-fold doors are always bespoke manufactured to suit the purpose and aesthetic of the property.

External bi-folds are made from solid Engineered timber to cut down the possibility of twist and bend. Doors can be hinged opening onto themselves or if doors are required to slide we use a top hung, bottom supported rolling system which can open inwards or outwards to suit with options available for single opening. Anywhichway a full set of opening doors adds light and space inside a house between rooms or into the garden and makes for a brilliantly versatile area. If extra support above is needed we can do that work also – there’s no need to go anywhere else, ours is a complete service.

If timber isn’t what you require we can also offer an aluminium bi-fold system.

Conservatories

We manufacture and fit Victorian, Edwardian, contemporary and modern style conservatories and orangeries; or indeed whatever our clients choose. These can be for domestic or commercial projects.

Epping Glass and Joinery can manufacture from Hardwood and semi-softwoods also.

We can deal with all other aspects of the complete project such as, groundworks, bricklaying. electrics, plumbing, plastering and decorating. Alternatively we are happy to liaise with an appointed builder, whichever suits, or circumstances dictate.

Staircases

We manufacture and fit a full range of staircases, measured to fit and comply to all current safety regulations.

We can manufacture from hardwood, softwood, Oak, mdf or any other timber required.

Newels, newel tops, spindles, balustrades and handrails can be of standard design or a bespoke style from either timber or glass.

Fitted Furniture

We help design, manufacture and fit bespoke kitchens, wardrobe and bedroom sets, home office shelving and cupboards, under stair and chimney breast infills, window shutters, fire surrounds and radiator covers, or anything else wanted to fill in.

We can help you utilise or upgrade any unused space in the home.

At Epping Glass and Joinery, we offer solid timber or veneered mdf finishes combined with glass if required, complete with internal fittings or left open for a client to ‘kit out’ as they choose.

Commercial

Our manufacture and fit service does not stop at domestic properties. We offer to the commercial sector the same fully bespoke service as we do for the public.

So whether a new shop front, a bar or counter top, we are able to quote for the complete manufacture and installation.

Fully fitted office areas, reception desks, work stations or fitted cupboards, are all projects we are very used to undertaking.

We use natural timbers, mdf and plywood as well as laminated sheet coverings to give the style and colour to match corporate identities or to market a company.

Glass

Our glass work ranges from the supply and fit of window and door float or safety glass to basic horticultural glass such as that needed for a greenhouse.

Epping Glass and Joinery can supply and fit toughened and polished glass and mirrors for stairs, walls and table tops etc.

We can repair lead lights and create new coloured glass items and patterns for either single or double glazing.
